The Membership Account is a type of savings account that maintains your membership with our credit union.

Membership accounts are not transactional, and can’t be used like a regular savings account. However, once you have a membership account with Bellco, you can open your own Savings or Checking account online or in a branch.

The NCUA is a U.S. government agency that allows Credit Union members up to $250,000 of insurance per individual depositor.

Interested in referring a friend or family member to Bellco? Check out Bellco’s Refer It Forward program where you can each receive your choice of $100 eGift Card from popular merchants!

All you have to do is fill out the referral form at BellcoReferItForward.com. Once complete, the referred person will receive an email invitation to open a checking account with us. Once the requirements of the program are met, you will both be eligible to choose your referral gift!

Bellco Referral Program

Your Membership Account establishes your membership with Bellco. It holds a $1.00 share balance to maintain membership with our credit union. It is important to keep your Membership Account open to take advantage of our competitive membership rates and benefits.

You can close your Membership Account if all of your other Bellco accounts and loans have been closed and you wish to end your membership with us.

Please visit a branch or contact Member Services if you need to close your account, or if you have any questions about membership requirements.
