Credit Card Upgrade Guide

We are pleased to announce that Bellco Credit Union has partnered with a new credit card processor to improve the features and benefits of our Bellco Visa® credit cards. Because of this upgrade, all current Bellco Visa credit cardholders will receive a new credit card with a new CVV code and expiration date.

The new cards will offer 24/7 lost/stolen cardholder support, new tools in online banking to help cardholders manage their card, and additional fraud prevention technology for safer and more secure spending.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, automatic payments that were set up in eZCard prior to conversion will need to be set up again in the new My Card Info site. To access My Card Info, please log in to Online Banking and select the Pay button on your credit card to open My Card Info. Once in My Card Info, choose Payments > Automatic Payments to set up automatic payments.

Coming soon!  Bellco business credit cardholders will be able to see their credit cards and transaction in Bellco online with access to a new, improved experience.  As we continue to work to providing business credit cardholders with access to online banking, business cardholders can pay their credit card by calling Card Services at 1-866-265-8512 or at any Bellco Branch.

To activate your card:

  • Beginning at approximately 8:00 am MT on September 17, you can call 1-888-691-8661 from the primary phone number on your account.
  • Be prepared to answer a few security questions based on the primary cardholder’s information.
  • Please destroy your old Bellco Visa credit card as it will no longer work after 11:59 pm MT on September 16, 2023.

Please Note:  If you have any joint or authorized users under your account, all cards will be activated (i.e., joints and authorized users) regardless of the different mailers they may arrive in, once the primary account owner completes activation.

No. Your existing card will not work after 11:59 pm MT on September 16. Instructions will come with your new card to ensure it is ready to use on or after September 17.

Yes. As a security feature, all cards being issued with this conversion will have a unique expiration date and CVV code. Each card mailer holds up to two cards so any joint or authorized users under your account will arrive in one mailer. Any cards in your household beyond two, will arrive separately. You will continue to receive only one billing statement, regardless of the number of cards on the account.

Important Dates

For members who have an active Bellco Visa® credit card account prior to August 8

Morning of September 17: You can activate your new credit card to begin using it.

After activating your new card, you can also update any direct recurring payments (i.e., cable, utilities, insurance payments, etc.) or subscription accounts (Amazon Prime, gym memberships, etc.) with your new card information. Be sure to update your accounts at those vendors with your new expiration date, CVV code, and any other pertinent information.

Please note:

  • If you have automatic or recurring payments set up through ezcard.info, those payments will transfer over during conversion.
  • Your existing card will be deactivated at 11:59 pm MT on September 16, and you will no longer be able to use it. You must activate your new card on or after 8:00 am MT the morning of September 17 in order to use it.

For members who open a new Bellco Visa® credit card account from August 24–September 14

September 18–25: New cards will be mailed to you. You can activate your new card immediately.

Accessing New Statements

Your electronic credit card statements will now be sent from ccstatements@bellco.org. Once the conversion happens you will visit a new website to access your credit card e-statements.

Credit Card Payments

Your payment due date will not change.

If you mail your credit card payment, please note that after September 17, you will need to mail your payments to the address below:

If you have your payment sent from Bellco’s bill pay system or a non-Bellco financial bill pay system, please be sure to update the mailing address/payment information.

Please note: Automatic payments set up in ezCard prior to conversion did not transfer over during conversion.  Please set up any new automatic payments in the new My Card Info site.  To access My Card Info, log on to Online Banking and select the Pay button next to your credit card to launch My Card Info.  Automatic Payments can be found under the Payments menu.

Rewards

You will not lose your current rewards, and there is no change to how you earn rewards.

Mobile Wallet

If your current card is enrolled in mobile wallet, your new Bellco Visa® credit card will automatically carry over once the card conversion is complete. 

Please note: Mobile wallet will be unavailable for up to one week after activating your new card. During this time, please use your physical card to make payments.
