Required Documents to Open an Account

When opening a student checking account at a branch, we REQUIRE the following documents to prove the minor’s identity:

1. A legible copy of the minor’s Social Security card

2. One of the following documents that shows the minor’s date of birth:

  • Birth certificate
  • Unexpired government-issued ID card
  • Unexpired driver’s license or permit
  • Unexpired passport
